WDP failed to update the blog with some pretty big news from 2018, so here's a quick summary.
Dixon Gallery and Gardens, a museum in Memphis, TN, invited Corkey Sinks to curate an exhibition in conjunction with two large print exhibitions: El Taller de Gráfica Popular: Vida y Arte and From Marne to the Rhine: Forain and World War I. Corkey's exhibition, titled Extension: Artists' Books, Prints, and Zines, presented a spectrum of contemporary approaches to print media with an emphasis on self-publishing. Zine Workshop for Teachers at Dixon Gallery and Gardens. In conjunction with the exhibition Extension, WDP co-founders Corkey Sinks and Jesse Butcher led a zine workshop for Memphis-area teachers.
